Can i have three broadband connections on my laptop at once, but only connecting one at a time?

I’m getting a free laptop with a 3 broadband deal, but it has a monthly download limit. I also want to use my free internet at university, my parent’s internet access via router and free wife wherever i can get it.
would i be able to use them all on one laptop one at a time, or would i need to uninstall one to use another?

You can have all three on your laptop. You just need to switch between them. On Windows, right click on the wireless network graphic in your system tray and select a wireless network from there.

I’m settling my account with virgin due to the sky fiasco & crap.!! i need to keep broadband & tv?? but not a home phone as I have a mobile. Indeed various suggestions & options, ( not BT please?? ) thanks.

Well being that I am not from the UK (dreaming of moving there) I have had to do some research..

I found: broadband.co.uk which lets you search for broadband deals in your area, broadbandchoices.co.uk also does the same, and broadbandgenie.co.uk/broadband_deals.html that also does some searching for you. They all seem like you could get some useful info from these sites.

how come BT offer great broadband deals for new customers, but dont care about reducing prices for existing?

Cancel your agreement and then you can get 6 months at reduced rate. Causes loads of extra work for BT and you get a better deal. Rip off Britain strikes again!!!!!!
It doesn’t answer the question why they don’t look after their loyal customers without me having to resort to dirty tricks though

I suggested I was considering switching and they offered £5 per month discount to stay with them for another year.
So I did.
Once that's up I'm looking again as I've heard sky can do faster connection speeds around our way even though BT say we can't go any faster..

In this guide we’ll show you the key features

lets begin by checking the broadband availability for a postcode

You start by entering your postcode in the form at the top of the site
homepage

Then click find a deal to carry out the search

The site will then check all the broadband deals in its database and
find the ones available in your area

You can change the results to order by price, speed or provider

The results are then listed in the order you selected

to find out more about a provider click “info”

You will then be given all the providers details

At the bottom of the page will be all the different deals the provider
offers

click “get deal” to visit the provider to find out more information and
sign up!

If you already have broadband then you’ll want to use our speed tester
to check how fast your connection really is

If you enter your postcode we can also check how fast the broadband
connection could be at your present address at the same time

simply click the button to start the test

The download speed is how fast the connection can download data

The upload speed is how fast data can be sent from your computer

it’s normal for the download speed to be much faster than the upload
speed

Scrolling down we can see the results of our test

and we can see that here we are only 3% slower than the maximum that we
should get on this line, so that’s pretty good.

If we go a bit further down we can see the fastest deals available in
this area should you want to look at switching providers
